Dead Family - 2024
The installation “The Dead Family” showing a burning fireplace and a photo frame where, instead of a family portrait, an anonymous man applauds an “ideal” family. The work explores social expectations surrounding the family image and the tension between authenticity and conformity. The symbolic fire—both warming and consuming—becomes a metaphor for the erosion of genuine connection. Presented at Cricoteka as part of the exhibition “A Man Swallowed by a Sofa.”
