Slide House - 2011
An attempt to create an autonomous space — a kind of island where the user can loop through basic actions and emotions. The staircase, a key element of the project, is typically associated with effort and a clearly defined goal. The slide, on the other hand, evokes emotion — fear, exhilaration, joy — offering an experience of motion without purpose, a pure sense of play. Inside the tube, one can completely isolate from the surroundings, find a moment of calm, or simply take a nap. The work, shown in the visualization, was specifically adapted to the entrance hall of the BWA Gallery in Zielona Góra, where it was commissioned and realized as part of an exhibition.
