Salt Lamp (part of the Żyjnia project) - 2026
The Salt Lamp is a mobile object on wheels created as part of the Żyjnia project at BWA Wrocław. Conceived as a contemporary hearth, it is designed to gather people, foster closeness, and encourage conversation within the gallery space. The object was made from natural pink salt donated by Kopalnia Soli Kłodawa - the only salt mine in Europe producing naturally pink salt. The material functions as a light filter: its warm hue softly diffuses the glow, creating an intimate, almost domestic atmosphere. Thanks to its mobile structure, the lamp can be repositioned, redefining the spatial arrangement and reinforcing its social role.
