Anvil – 2018
A performative action consisting of dropping a styrofoam replica of an anvil onto the protective nets installed to shield pedestrians from falling plaster on the decaying tenement houses of Kraków’s Kazimierz district. The gesture draws attention to the absurd and superficial measures taken by property managers in response to the tangible decay of the urban environment.
