Inflatable Emblem - 2006
Emblem was created specifically for the exhibition Club Colours at the F.A.I.T. Gallery in Kraków in 2006. The work offers an ironic commentary on inflated—and often empty—forms of patriotism. Later, the emblem was sold through the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery and was also considered for the cover of Zaprojektowane, a publication summarizing contemporary Polish design. Ultimately, the cover featured a different image, while a photograph of the artist, dressed in a wet suit and holding the emblem, was included inside the book.
