Chimney House - 2010
Every chimney can deviate from its vertical position to a certain extent. Some of them may even move horizontally as much as half a meter. As improbable as it may seem, this kind of flexibility guarantees that those unusual objects of architecture are stable and safe. Developing this idea further – and following the growing trend for extreme sports – I would like to propose an installation of a classic hobby horse on the top of such a chimney. The toy would be rocked by the natural movement of the whole structure.
