The Flat House represents a layout of a two-bedroom apartment on a scale of 1:1. This eye-catching, vertical installation may be placed among blocks of flats in modern housing estates and is designed to improve the appearance of these spaces, which are full of ugly cubic buildings. It adds an aesthetic dimension and gives the urban space ephemeral or even poetic qualities. Paying mortgage means that we constantly fight with the bank for our own apartment, which we would like to call “home”. The object is intended to critically comment on this situation. Additional versions of this object may be created, such as three-bedroom apartments and other customized flat layouts.
